Adaco Services, LLC announces four new software capabilities
Adaco Services, LLC, (www.AdacoServices.com) announces four new software
capabilities (to be unveiled at HITEC this month). At hotels in more than
500 properties in 53 countries, Adaco’s procurement software ensures that
the right item will be delivered to the right place at the right time at
the right price.
- Vendor Managed Quotes — gives the hotel vendors the
ability to maintain their product prices.
This vendor enabling tool enables hotel purchasing agents
to maintain up-to-date prices on every item they purchase,
from steak and fish (whose prices can change daily) to
paper towels. The purchasing agent no longer has to keep
calling vendors for updates. Rather, the purchasing agent
provides the vendor with the software to keep quotes
up to date in the vendor’s catalogue of products used
by the hotel. The vendor saves the data to a file transfer
protocol (FTP) site, which allow for automatic price
updates to the property.
- Work Order System — an inexpensive web-based tool for
engineers.
This tool allows hotel engineers to keep track of inventory
by supporting both planned and unplanned maintenance
activities, from initial service request and work order
generation, through completion and recording of actual
labor and part costs. When planning maintenance work,
the administrator can match job tasks to available resources
(employees as well as contractors), estimate and obtain
approval of costs, establish priorities, and initiate
maintenance activities.
- Starlight — a web-based version of Adaco’s flagship
Eclipse software.
The hotel either hosts and operates Starlight on the
premises, like traditional software, or Adaco hosts it
for the hotel. Hotels no longer have to arrange to have
Eclipse installed on their computers. With a user name
and password, they can instantly access it online.
- Nutrition information —
This add-on module to Eclipse allows hotel food managers
to calculate the nutrition information on all their recipes
and individual food products.
