Adaco Services opens office in India – hotel industry exploding in India

Adaco Services, LLC (www.adacoservices.com) has opened an office in India to expand the reach of its hospitality procurement software to hotels in India, China and Japan.

“We want to continue our expansion from Europe and the Middle East into Asia,” said Mark Pinsley, CEO of Adaco Services. “Having an office in India will enable us to service hotels throughout the country as well as to provide more support to our hotel clients throughout Europe and the Middle East.”

The new office is located in the heart of Bangalore and is headed by Ganesh Srinivasan.
Adaco’s London office covers its hotels throughout Europe.

Pinsley noted that major American hotel chains are expanding into India to accommodate the American firms visiting their outsourced personnel there as well as the surge in general and healthcare tourism. Room rates average $500 a night, according to Pinsley. HVS International estimates that nearly 36,000 hotel rooms in India will be added by 2011.

China is building many new hotels to accommodate visitors to the 2008 Olympics, he added.

Srinivasan has served for more than 14 years in the Middle East, representing top manufacturing firms from Europe and the UK, in addition to spending seven years managing a Private Limited company in Singapore, and now specializing in unraveling the mysteries of the Indian, Far East and Chinese markets to facilitate business development in these areas for Adaco Services.

At hotels in more than 500 properties in 53 countries, Adaco’s procurement software ensures that the right item will be delivered to the right place at the right time at the right price. Since 1985, Adaco has managed all aspects of the hospitality industry’s procurement and operations needs. It has continually enhanced its software, with global input, to accommodate the industry’s changes and growth at both single and multi-property hotels.
